1 killed, 10 injured in Brahmanbaria clash
The deceased is Fayez Mia, 55 of Namibari village
A man was killed and at least 10 others were injured in a clash between two parties over dominance in Kasba upazila in Brahmanbaria. The clash took place at Nimbari village in Mulgram union of the upazila around 7 am on Saturday.
The deceased is Fayez Mia, 55 of Namibari village.
The injured are being treated at Kasba Upazila Health Complex and District Sadar Hospital.

Mulgram Union Parishad Chairman Md Moinul Islam confirmed the matter and said, "Ratan Mia of the Nimbari village has been in a long-running dispute with Shakku Mia of the same village over dominance in the area. Consequently, people on both sides clashed with local weapons on Saturday morning. A supporter of Ratan Mia named Fayez Mia was killed in the clash."
Kasba Police Officer-in-Charge, Alamgir Bhuiyan, said, "Police were sent to the spot after receiving the news. The situation is calm currently."
