131 govt officials promoted as additional secretaries
The government has promoted 131 officials to the post of additional secretary.
Of them, 117 people had previously been promoted as deputy secretaries and 220 as joint secretaries.
The new promotions were disclosed through a notification of the Public Administration Ministry today (25 August).

Those who have been promoted have been made officers in charge of the Ministry of Public Administration. They will be attached to their respective officer later, according to the notification.
