150 Italy returnees taken to Ashkona for test
Another flight of Qatar Airways landed on early Sunday morning from Italy with 58 Bangladeshis
The authorities have taken 150 Bangladeshis, who arrived here from Italy this morning, to the Ashkona hajj camp quarantine centre for initial test.
Dr M Mushtuq Husain, former principal scientific officer of Institute of Epidemiology Disease Control and Research (IEDCR) confirmed the matter to The Business Standard.
"Those who have home-quarantine facilities will be sent home, while others will be kept in institutional quarantine," said Dr M Mushtuq Husain.
Earlier an Emirates flight landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport from Italy carrying more than 150 Bangladeshis today.
Another flight of Qatar Airways landed on early Sunday morning from Italy with 58 Bangladeshis.
On Saturday, 142 Bangladeshis arrived from Italy who were taken to Ashkona Hajj Camp for quarantine. Later they were released after initial test.
