200 bigha cannabis fields destroyed in Khagrachari
None associated with the cannabis farming were found at the spot
Security forces have destroyed cannabis fields on about 200 bigha of land in Matiranga upazila in Khagrachari.
The drive was carried out on Thursday noon.
However, none associated with the cannabis farming were found at the spot.

Shamsuddin Bhuiyan, officer-in-charge (OC) of Matiranga Police Station, told The Business Standard, "Drug dealers had around 40 cannabis fields in the remote areas. The security forces have destroyed them."
He said earlier a few cannabis farms were destroyed in Khagrachari on December 20.
