9 survivors of Libya's Mizdah attack return home
In May, 30 migrants including 26 Bangladeshis were shot and killed in a smuggling warehouse in Mizdah
Nine survivors of the tragic Mizdah incident in Libya, that took the lives of 26 Bangladeshis, have returned home on a humanitarian flight.
A chartered flight carrying the migrants landed at Dhaka's Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA) on Wednesday, according to a press release.
In May, 30 migrants including 26 Bangladeshis were shot and killed in a smuggling warehouse in Mizdah.
The deadly attack in Mizdah, near the city of Gharyan, southwest of Tripoli also left 11 other migrants critically injured and IOM and partners have supported the survivors in the subsequent months.
A total of 26 cases filed in connection with the deadly Mizdah attack.
