ACC delegation visits Election Commission to investigate NID service complaints
A delegation from the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) arrived at the Election Commission (EC) today (19 December) to investigate complaints related to national identity card (NID) services.
Before the meeting, Assistant Director of ACC Asif Al Mahmud, who led the delegation, told the media, "There are issues related to NID services. We have gathered some information from the Electoral Training Institute [ETI] building. Now we will discuss this with the director general and will be able to comment further on this matter."
The four-member ACC team arrived at the ETI building in Agargaon around 12:00pm and collected information from the section that provides NID services.
Later, around 12:30pm, they held a meeting with the Director General of the National Identity Registration Division ASM Humayun Kabir.
