Addl IGP’s wife dies from dengue
Akter, mother of three, breathed her last at 11am Sunday.
Additional Inspector General of Police (IGP) Shahabuddin Qureshi’s wife died of dengue on Sunday morning at a city hospital.
The deceased is Syeda Akter, 54.
She was admitted to the Rajarbagh Police Lines Hospital on July 30 after being infected with the mosquito-borne disease, said Kamrul Ahsan, senior information officer of Police Headquarters.

Akter, mother of three, was taken to the Square Hospital last night after her health condition deteriorated. She breathed her last at 11am Sunday.
