All Bangladeshis have support for Palestine: Jamaat Ameer
Yousef SY Ramadan, on behalf of the people of Palestine, expressed his sincere gratitude for the meaningful love, support and cooperation of the people of Bangladesh towards his country, especially the Gaza Strip
All Bangladeshis stand in solidarity with Palestinians, who have been subjected to long-standing oppression and inhumane treatment, Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr Shafiqur Rahman said today (16 October).
"Palestine has long been and is currently an oppressed country. Inhuman torture is going on against them and number of martyrs is increasing day by day. In this situation, all Bangladeshis, irrespective of parties, opinions, have support for Palestine," the Jamaat Ameer made the remarks when Palestine Ambassador to Bangladesh Yousef SY Ramadan called on him and visited their party's central office, reads a press release.
He said like all the Muslim countries of the world, we have a cordial relationship with Palestine forever, and this relationship will remain intact in the future also, Insha'Allah.
"We want Palestine to stand as a nation state with full independence in the world," he said, adding that memories of many prophets are related to this land and Baitul Muqaddas, the first Qibla of Muslims, is located on this ground.
