Anti-Discrimination Student Movement forms special cell on July uprising
The Anti-Discrimination Student Movement has formed a special cell dedicated to the July uprising.
Arif Sohel, member secretary of the organization, announced this at the movement's office in Banglamotor, Dhaka, on Wednesday night (8 January).
This cell, led by Hasan Enam, founder of the July Massacre Archive, will comprise four teams.
The four teams within this cell will focus on ensuring medical care for injured protesters and providing rehabilitation support to the families of martyrs, documenting the events of the July uprising, expediting judicial processes related to the uprising, and overseeing the construction of memorials for the martyrs.
Hasan Enam, secretary of the cell, told The Business Standard that their aim is to have a far-reaching impact.
"The team members will strive to uphold the spirit of the mass upheaval and will soon finalise their plans," he added.
