Bus stuck under U-loop removed after 12 hours
It was another case of reckless driving
The U-loop was made to ease the traffic congestion on the road in the capital's Merul Badda area.
But who cares?
It was another case of reckless driving.
A BRTC bus got stuck under the U-loop on Saturday morning, causing trouble for commuters all day long.
At last, after 12 hours, police removed the bus at night.
"The bus was plying on the service lane instead of the main road. It took much time to remove the bus as we do not have big wrecker. We brought a big wrecker from BRTC bus depot at Mirpur-12 and removed the bus," Senior Assistant Commissioner of Badda Traffic Zone Abdullah Al Mamun said.
"Project authorities of the U-loop visited the place yesterday afternoon and checked if there was any damage," he added.
