CA's special assistant visits puja mandaps in Savar

Chief Adviser's Special Assistant Lieutenant General (retd) Abdul Hafiz visited various puja mandaps in Savar municipal areas yesterday night (9 October).
During the visit, the special assistant told journalists that maximum security measures have been taken this year for holding the Durga Puja in a beautiful and peaceful environment.
Abdul Hafiz, also CA's special assistant on defense and national solidarity development affairs, exchanged views with the Hindu community people including leaders of the Puja Udhjapan Parishad.
Superintendent of Police of Dhaka district Ahmed Muyeed, Additional Deputy Commissioner (revenue) Parvez Chowdhury, Savar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Abu Bakar Sarker, Savar Puja Udhjapan Parishad President Barun Bhowmik and its General Secretary Prodeep Das, among others, were present.
Earlier, the special assistant visited different puja mandaps in Dhamrai upazila of the district.
