General Secretary of Koyra upazila Chhatra League died after being severely injured in a conflict that sparked around the construction of a bridge in Khulna.
Hadiuzzaman Rasel, 28, died on Monday morning while he was being transferred to Dhaka for better treatment.
The deceased was the son of Abdus Sattar Sana hailing from Baila Haraniya village under Koyra upazila.

Md Robiul Hossain, Officer-in-Charge of Koyra police station said, "Rasel along with his cousins went to the construction site and tried to stop the work. They got involved in a clash with the other party and Rasel got severely injured along with 7-8 other BCL activists. He was admitted to Khulna Medical College Hospital. Later he was sent to Dhaka for better treatment where he died on the way."
