SWACHIP President Dr Jamal sent to jail in murder attempt case
A court today sent to jail Swadhinata Chikitshak Parishad (SWACHIP) President Dr Md Jamal Uddin Chowdhury in an attempt to murder case.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Belal Hossain passed the order as police produced Chowdhury before the court and pleaded to keep him behind the bars till the end of the probe in the case.
Dr Md Jamal Uddin Chowdhury was shown arrested in the case on 4 December.

According to the case documents, Zakaria Yasin, 11, was serving water to Anti-Discrimination Movement activists in front of his Bhatara house with his mother on 23 July.
Awami League men along with policemen arrived at the place and started firing on them. One bullet hit Yasin on his left leg.
Yasin's mother on 2 October filed the case with the Bhatara Police Station.
