Three more accused put on remand over assault on Noakhali woman

A Noakhali court has placed three more accused on remand over the stripping of a woman and physically abusing her at Eklashpur in Begumganj Upazila in Noakhali.
Noakhali Chief Judicial Magistrate Amli Court-3 Judge Mashfiqul Haque passed the order on Wednesday.
Among the accused, Main Uddin Saju has been put on remand for 6 days, Anwar Hossain Sohag and Nur Hossain Rasel for 2 days each.

Investigating officer of the case, Sub-Inspector Mostak Ahmed of Begumganj Police Station produced the accused at court and applied for remand under the Pornography and Women and Child Repression Prevention Act.
Among the eight accused arrested over the incident, five have been produced at court, and the court has granted their remand separately.
