6 held over Tk3 crore postal forgery in Dhaka
The six fraud gang members were arrested with Tk1.5 lakh, and a huge amount of pay order forms and seals of General Post Office (GPO), according to a media release.
Members of the Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) detained six members of a fraud gang for Tk3 crore postal and other forgery from Dhaka's Taltola area on Sunday afternoon.
Md Fazlul Haque Arshaful, 52, his wife Asma Akhter Shimu, 38, were arrested with Tk1.5 lakh, and a huge amount of pay order forms and seals of General Post Office (GPO), according to a media release.
Later, Rab detained three GPO staff-- Md Amzad Ali, 55, Mustafizur Rahman, 52, Doli Rani, 53, and civilian Linkon Saha, 24, as per their information.
