Members of Anti Terrorism Terrorism Unit of Police has arrested a active member of Ansarullah Bangla Team from Kochua upazila in Chandpur.
The arrestee is Afzal Hossain, 25, son of Ruhul Amin. He used to propagate extremist ideology through various means of social media (Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp) to establish the so-called Islamic caliphate in the country.
The team conducted the drive at Masnigaccha area around 9pm on Tuesday and arrested him, said a release.
