Rohingya man killed in Cox’s Bazar
Police said Noor was an accused in several cases, including rape, possession of alcohol and robbery

A young Rohingya man was hacked to death in Cox's Bazar on Friday.
The deceased was identified as Noor Zohar, 25.
Officer-in-Charge of Cox's Bazar Sadar Model Police Station Md Khairuzzaman said being informed by local people, police recovered the body from under a bridge in Ward no. 6 of Cox's Bazar on Friday morning.

Police said Noor was an accused in several cases, including rape, possession of alcohol and robbery.
Police suspected that Noor might have been killed by his rivals over previous enmity and establishing supremacy in the area.
Police are investigating the incident, the OC said.
The body was sent to Cox's Bazar Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy.
