Two JMB members arrested in Rangpur
The detainees are- Kawser Nahid, 19, son of Abdul Wahab and Rubel Mia, 25, son of Musilm Mia
Police detained two members of banned militant outfit Jamaatul Mujahidin Bangladesh (JMB) from Pirzabad area of Rangpur metropolis on Friday night.
The detainees are- Kawser Nahid, 19, son of Abdul Wahab and Rubel Mia, 25, son of Musilm Mia.
Assistant Commissioner of Rangpur Metropolitan (DB), Altaf Hossain, said, "We arrested them from Prime Medical College area while they attempted to carry out subversive activities."

"We also recovered a plastic placard with six wooden handles, 15 paper cap with white rubber bands, five styrofoam sheets and five bamboo sticks," he added.
Some 30/35 unidentified persons have been sued with Kotwali Police Station under Special Power Act 1974's section 15 (3) in this connection.
