DMP, US Embassy to continue mutual cooperation on preventing crimes
The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) and US Embassy discussed continuing mutual cooperation in preventing crimes such as terrorism, cybercrime and transnational crime.
A delegation from the US Embassy today paid a courtesy call on DMP Commissioner SM Sajjat Ali.
During the meeting, discussions were held on continuing cooperation between the DMP and the US Embassy to develop mutual relations.
The delegation led by Eric Geelan, political and economic chief of the US Embassy in Dhaka, paid a courtesy call on the police commissioner at the DMP Headquarters.
Discussions were also held on determining future work plans, enhancing the performance of CTTC officers and providing assistance to each other in professional development.
The meeting was attended by Daniel Blackmore, Regional Security Officer of the US Embassy, Hermanoschy Bernard, Political Officer, Tanik Munir and Nabil Mahmud Senior, Program Management Specialists of the Department of Justice.
Senior officials of the DMP were also present.
