Kuet opts out of cluster admission tests
Admission tests to be held on 11 January
Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (Kuet) has decided to opt out of the cluster admission test system and hold independent tests for admission in the 2024-2025 session.
"The decision was taken in the 105th meeting of the university's Academic Council held on 29 October and the 106th meeting held on 14 November," said Shaheduzzaman Sheikh, section officer of Kuet Public Relations and Information Branch.
Written examination will be held from 9:30am to 12:30pm on 11 January and free hand drawing from 12:45pm to 1:45pm on the same day.

This year, students will be admitted to a total of 1,065 seats in 16 departments in civil engineering, electrical and electronic engineering, and mechanical engineering faculties. A maximum of 20,000 candidates will be eligible to participate in the admission tests.
Online application form has to be filled between 4 to 14 December and application fee has to be submitted by 15 December.
