SM Mahfuzur Rahman joins BUFT as vice chancellor
Prof SM Mahfuzur Rahman has joined the BGMEA University of Fashion and Technology (BUFT) as its vice-chancellor for a four-year tenure, said a press release.
Prior to this new post, he served at the International Business Department and the Finance Department under University of Dhaka.
Apart from this, he was also engaged with the Rupali Bank, as a director and the Investment Corporation of Bangladesh, as chairman.

He obtained the doctor of philosophy (PhD) degree from the Institute of Oriental Studies, Moscow.
