STEM Club to hold programming contest for 6th to 12th graders

STEM Club, a portfolio startup of the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Division Bangladesh, is going to organise a programming competition for school and college students aiming to develop their skills in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).
The contest named "Micro Camp-2020; Stay safe, Stay code" is dedicated to the National Victory Day of the country, says a press release.

The campaign is pledged to motivate participants to step out of their traditional studies, be advanced with STEM, and create awareness towards "Digital Bangladesh: VISION 2021".
Prof Lafifa Zamal, chairperson of Robotics and Mechatronics Engineering Department at Dhaka University, and Munir Hasan, head of the Youth Programme at Prothom Alo, will attend the programme as special guests.
The programme is themed with Scratch Programming (only applicable for school) and C Programming (only applicable for college).
The participants will be provided with master classes based on basic coding and problem solving problems.
STEM is a curriculum based on the idea of educating students as well as all the enthusiasts in the field of science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
STEM Club is such a community that is giving effort to create a skilled generation through this world leading STEM pedagogy.
"Micro Camp-2020; Stay safe, Stay code" is a consequence of this continuation.
