Temperature drops slightly across country
After a light drizzle yesterday evening (30 November), the mercury started dropping in the capital and elsewhere around the country, signalling the arrival of winter.
BMD Meteorologist Md Monowar Hossain told The Business Standard, "After yesterday's rainfall the country's temperature has decreased. Gradually the temperature will decline and people will experience winter situations."
He aslo said, "For the next 24 hours the night temperature may fall slightly and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country."
According to a met office weather forecast, there will be fog at places over the country during late night till early morning.
Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country, it added.
Slight rain was observed in parts of Dhaka and other parts of the country yesterday.
Tentulia recorded the lowest temperature at 10.3°C yesterday and Sitakunda recorded the highest at 34.8°C.
Dhaka recorded the lowest temperature of 19.8°C yesterday.
