BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir suffered a minor injury after falling from a moving pick-up van in Rangpur on Monday.
"Fakhrul got hurt in one of his left-hand fingers after falling from a pick-up van while he was going to attend a roadside rally at Shapla Chattar at 5pm," said Rangpur City BNP General Secretary Shahidul Islam Mizu.
"Doctors said Fakhrul fell sick due to diabetes. Now he is alright," Shahidul added.

Later, Fakhrul took primary treatment at Prime Medical College Hospital and left the hospital for Syedpur airport, he further said.
