Govt allows 42 firms to import 18.80cr eggs within January

The government has permitted to import 18.80 crore eggs through 42 designated firms for stabilising the egg market.
The Ministry of Commerce today (19 November) gave the permission to stabilise prices and ensure the availability of this essential commodity.
According to the ministry's statement, this import permission will expire on 31 January 2025.
