Govt reassures continued treatment of those injured in July revolution
Foreign Affairs Adviser Md Touhid Hossain reaffirmed today (15 October) that the government remains committed to providing adequate medical care and ensuring the rehabilitation of those injured in the July revolution.
"I am assuring that the government is committed to providing support as long as they need it," said the adviser while visiting the injured who are undergoing treatment at the National Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedic Rehabilitation at Agargaon in the capital.
He said the current government is 'very serious' about providing treatment to the injured.
Hossain enquired about the treatment of the injured and listened to their problems.
After the treatment, the injured will be rehabilitated according to their qualifications, the foreign adviser said.
"We have a decision. When the doctors tell us that treatment is not possible here, we will arrange to send them abroad," he also said.
