ICT division officials donate Taka 29.64 lakh for flood victims
Officials and employees of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Division and different offices under the division have donated a total of Tk29 lakh to support the flood-hit people.
On behalf of the ICT Division, its officials today handed over six cheques of the amount to Adviser Md Nahid Islam, said a press release.
It is mentionable that with the interest of the officials and employees of the ICT Division, on 24 August, a decision was taken to provide assistance to the flood victims by donating their one day's salary.
Earlier, officials and employees of Posts and Telecommunications Division (PTD) and its affiliated organisations donated Tk1 crore to support the people affected by the severe floods.

On behalf of the PTD, the officials of the division handed over 12 cheques of the amount, which was equivalent to one day's salary, to adviser Md Nahid Islam on 25 August.
