Keraniganj fire death toll jumps to 17

Three more victims, who suffered severe burn injuries in the Keraniganj factory fire, succumbed to their injuries at Sheikh Hasina National Burn and Plastic Surgery Institute in DMCH this morning, raising the death toll to 17.
The deceased were identified as Razzak, Abu Sayeed and Mostakin, said Dr Samanta Lal Sen, chief coordinator of the Burn Units across the country. The age of the victims could not be known immediately.
A devastating fire broke out at Prime Pet and Plastic Industries, which was located at a residential area of Chunkutia in Keraniganj on December 11, killing one on the spot and injuring 33 others.

Fourteen of them people succumbed to their injuries at Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
