Met office predicts light rain or drizzle over parts of country
Night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country
Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today said that weather may remain mainly dry over the country, but there are chances of light rain or drizzle at one or two places over Rangpur division for the next 24 hours beginning this morning.
"Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country, having chances of light rain or drizzle at one or two places over Rangpur division", according to the forecast begins from 9am.
A ridge of sub-continental height extends up to West Bengal and adjoining areas. Seasonal low lies over South Bay extending its trough to North Bay.
Light to moderate fog may occur at places over the country from midnight to morning.
Night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country. Day temperature may fall slightly over Rangpur division and remain nearly unchanged elsewhere in the country.
Country's maximum temperature on Sunday was recorded at 30 degrees Celsius at Rangamati and minimum temperature today was recorded at 11.6 degrees Celsius at Jashore.
