Minor girl dies of dengue in Barishal
So far four dengue patients have died at the Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital.
A minor girl died of dengue at the Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital (SBMCH) in Barishal on Saturday.
Rusha, 10, daughter of Ruhul Amin, resident of Rajapur Upazila in Jhalakathi, breathed her last at around 8 am, confirmed SBMCH Director Bakir Hossain.
Initially, Rusha was rushed to the Rahat Anwar hospital in Barishal city after being infected with dengue. Later, she was transferred to SBMCH on Friday night as her health deteriorated.
So far four dengue patients have died of dengue at this hospital. Meanwhile, an increasing number of dengue patients have been coming to the hospital in the last few days.
In the last 24 hours, 98 people were admitted to the hospital with dengue. At present there are 340 dengue patients being treated at the hospital.
