Missing body of tourist recovered after 20 hours

The body of a missing tourist was recovered 20 hours after he drowned in the sea at Cox's Bazar.
The body was found floating at 10am today (5 September) at the Nazirartek point of Cox's Bazar beach, as confirmed by Md Tanvir Hossain, executive magistrate of the district administration's tourism cell.
The deceased was identified as Mohammad Sajib, 26, the son of Kazi Jahangir Hossain of 11-D road, Pallabi, Dhaka.
"Family members of the missing tourist were informed after the recovery. Upon arrival at the scene, they identified the body," said the executive magistrate.
The body has been sent to the Cox's Bazar District Hospital morgue, and the legal process for handing it over to the family is ongoing, he added.
