Muslims in Khulna hold Eid Jamaat in knee-deep water
The people of Khulna’s Koyra sadar upazila have been fighting for the embankment since cyclone Ayla took place, and now the struggle has turned intense due to Amphan
Around 5,000 Muslim devotees of Koyra in Khulna performed the Eid-ul-Fitr prayer standing in Knee-deep water on an embankment.

Former Koyra Sadar UP chairman AKM Tamizuddin led the prayer on the broken embankment on the west side of Koyra village at ward-2 of the Koyra sadar union.
On the other hand, about 2,500 people offered the Eid prayer in the water on the east side, led by Koyra Sadar UP Chairman Humayun Kabir.
After the Eid-ul-Fitr prayer, the people started repairing the dam again with a sad heart till the high tide at noon.
Koyra Sadar UP Chairman Humayun Kabir said the people of the town have been fighting for the embankment since cyclone Ayla took place, and now the struggle has turned intense due to Amphan.
