NBR Commissioner Mahbubur suspended for misconduct

The government has suspended the National Board of Revenue (NBR)'s Commissioner AKM Mahbubur Rahman on a charge of misconduct.
"Mahbubur was suspended following section 12 of the Employee Discipline and Appeal Rules-2018," reads a notification signed by Md Abdur Rahman Khan, secretary to the Ministry of Finance, issued yesterday (3 February).
"He, however, will get all facilities during the suspension period."
