No followers of the casino kingpin Samrat was seen in front of Samrat's office at Kakrail's Bhuiyan Mansion following his arrest early today.
The mastermind of Dhaka's gambling scene was arrested while trying to flee the country through Cumilla border.
However, on the night of the initial crackdown, when Samrat hid himself at his Kakrail's office, he was guarded by hundreds of Jubo League activists, who had cordoned off the building.

None of those followers could be seen at the same building today when Samrat has been taken to Rapid Action Battalion headquarters for primary interrogation.
Earlier, Samrat's whereabouts could not be traced since September 28.
Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal on the same day said it does not matter who Samrat is and he will be treated as per the laws.
