No one can get away with corruption: Biman MD
Biman Bangladesh Airlines Managing Director Md Shafiqur Rahman has emphasised adherence to rules and accountability, stating that no one can get away with corruption.
"Everyone must work according to the rules," he said during a courtesy call with leaders of the Aviation and Tourism Journalists Forum in Dhaka today.
Shafiqur said there have been significant improvements compared to last month.

He also added that strict monitoring and accountability are now being enforced in all departments, including the cabin crew.
The Biman MD emphasised transparency and accountability for future generations.
He also indicated the new route plans, the addition of new aircraft to maintain the capacity of the airline, and maintaining a standard of Biman services at different levels.
Shafiqur was appointed as Biman MD recently after the fall of the Sheikh Hasina-led government as a major reshuffle in the national carrier.
He is one of the few senior executives to have been promoted internally, as the position has typically been filled by external appointees.
Among others, Biaman GM (PR) Boshra Islam; ATJFB president Tanzim Anwar, and general secretary Baten Biplob were also present.
