9 killed in Chapainawabganj road accident
Nine agriculture workers were killed and three others injured when a paddy-laden vehicle plunged into a road side ditch at Sonapur-Barikbazar under Shibganj upazila of Chapainawabganj district early today.
The deceased were identified as Babu, son of Erfan Ali; Tajemul Haque, son of Sheikh Mohammad; Mithun, son of Tajemul Haque; Karim, son of Kabil Uddin; Milu, son of Amanul;?Abul Kashem; son of Naushad; Ahad Ali, son of Azizul Haque; Ataur Rahman, son of Rehman of Shibganj upazila; and driver Masud Rana, reports SomoyTV.
Md Farid Hossain, officer-in-charge (OC) of Shibganj Police Station, said, "The accident occurred when the paddy-laden vehicle with 12 agriculture workers skidded off the road and fell into a roadside ditch at about 4:30am."

Being informed, police rushed to the spot and recovered the bodies.
7 people died on the spot and 3 others died later while undergoing treatment at a hospital.
