Pakistan PM Shehbaz Sharif expresses sorrow over dengue deaths in Bangladesh
Pakistan's Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives due to the ongoing dengue outbreak in Bangladesh, offering support to the nation during this crisis.
"Deeply saddened by the loss of precious lives due to the dengue outbreak in Bangladesh," taking to X (formerly Twitter) wrote Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif yesterday (18 November).
"Pakistan stands in solidarity with our brothers and sisters in Bangladesh at this difficult time, and we stand ready to assist in whatever way we can," he added.
The dengue outbreak in has claimed 407 lives as of 16 November, according to official records. Additionally, some 4,173 patients are currently undergoing treatment at various hospitals across the country.
