Chuadanga district BNP holds conference after 14 years
A total of 808 voters will choose their leaders at the conference, while around 12,000 party men will be present as delegates
Chuadanga district unit of BNP is holding a conference after 14 years, with Tariqe Rahman set to speak as the chief guest.
Jatiyatabadi Samajik Sangskritik Sangstha's Chuadanga unit performed the party anthem at the beginning of the event, which has been organised by BNP's convening committee at Chuadanga's Town Football Field at 10:30am today (23 November).
Central and district party leaders were seen hoisting the national and the party flags while the national anthem was being played. The entire area has been filled with banners, festoons and billboards.
A total of 808 voters will choose their leaders at the conference, while around 12,000 party men will be present as delegates.
BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman will be virtually present at the event as chief guest. BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir will inaugurate the conference, while BNP Vice Chairman Shamsuzzaman Dudu will be present as special guest.
The event is being presided over by BNP's Chuadanga unit Convener Mahmud Hasan Khan Babu, who has been selected as BNP's Chuadanga unit president uncontested.
The conference is being moderated by BNP's Member Secretary Sharifuzzaman Sharif.
