Production halted at Ashuganj Fertiliser Factory
Production of Urea fertilisers has been stopped today due to mechanical glitch at Ashuganj Fertiliser Factory in Brahmanbaria.
General Manager (Technical) of the factory Dr. Moffazel Hossain has confirmed the matter, saying, "We found some faults with the ammonia plant in the afternoon, which has led to stopping all production of the fertilizer."
He added that all necessary steps are being taken to solve the problem, and that he expects production to resume within two or three days.
