Awami League candidate Railway Minister Md Nurul Islam Sujan has been elected by a huge margin from Panchagarh-2 constituency in the 12th parliamentary elections held today.

Returning Officer said Sujan bagged 1,74,504 votes with 'boat' symbol while his nearest rival of Jatiyo Party candidate Ripon secured 8,600 votes with 'plough' symbol.
