Rajshahi MP requests airline to provide hand fan for passengers
Omor Faruk Chowdhury MP made the queer demand on Thursday after he took a US-Bangla Airlines flight to reach Rajshahi from Dhaka
Awami League parliament member (MP) from Rajshahi-1 (Tanor-Godagari) constituency, Omor Faruk Chowdhury has requested US-Bangla Airlines authorities to provide hand fans to passengers, adding that it is very hot inside the planes.
Omor Faruk Chowdhury MP made the unusual request on Thursday after he took a US-Bangla Airlines flight to reach Rajshahi from Dhaka.
The Rajshahi-1 MP revealed the matter over a Facebook post.

"I have just reached Rajshahi. It was too hot inside the airplane of the US-Bangla airlines. I have made a written request to the airline authorities to provide hand fans for every passenger," he wrote.
He also attached a picture of the written application with his Facebook post.
"The incident happened when the aircraft was grounded, the door was open and therefore the AC was off. The minister may have felt uncomfortable due to temperature then," said US-Bangla Airlines General manager (PR) Kamrul Islam said when The Business Standard reached the airlines for comment on the incident.
