Rohingya youth detained in Teknaf; weapon, gold, yaba pills recovered
The arrestee was identified as Sharif Hossain, 22, son of Md Siddik, a resident of Rohingya camp D-4.
Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) detained a Rohingya youth along with firearms, gold and yaba pills in Teknaf upazila of Cox's Bazar on Saturday.

Abdullah Mohammad Sheikh Sadi, assistant superintendent of RAB-15, said, on secret information they came to know that a group of drug dealers were gathering at a betel nut garden in Shaplapur-Whykong area of Teknaf.
Later, they raided the area and detained Sharif along with three rounds of cartridges, a locally-made weapon, 280-gram of gold, 4000 yaba tablets and some cash money from the spot.
Separate cases have been filed over the incident.
