SEU observes Martyred Intellectuals Day

The Southeast University (SEU) authorities observed the Martyred Intellectuals Day in a befitting manner on the campus.

Bangabandhu Chair Professor of Islamic University and Chairman of Bangla Academy Shamsuzzaman Khan and Pro-Vice-Chancellor of Dhaka University and Chairman of Jatiya Kobita Parishad Prof Dr Muhammad Samad addressed in the programme.
They said that intellectuals guided us during the liberation war. "We will have to put as much history as possible in the textbooks in order to keep the memories of the martyrs alive among the new generations," they added.
Prof Dr MA Hakim, dean of the school of arts and social sciences delivered the welcome speech. Among others, members of BoT, registrar, deans, chairmen, faculty members, officials, and students participated in the programme.
