Sheikh Hasina’s family selfie goes viral

A selfie taken by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina with her sister Sheikh Rehana and daughter Saima Wazed in front of a portrait of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, has gone viral on different social media platforms.
While visiting an exhibition on the father of the nation Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, PM took the selfie and the moment was captured by a photographer at the Shilpakala Academy in the capital on Friday.
After inaugurating the four-day programme at International Mother Language Institute (IMLI), the prime minister along with her sister visited the exhibition titled "Lightning the Fire of Freedom Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman". While visiting the exhibition at the National Art Gallery of the academy, the prime minister also spoke about the photos and paintings of the exhibition.
The two daughters of Bangabandhu became very emotional and embraced each other after listening to the historic March 7 speech which was displayed in the exhibition, reports BSS. Later, Sheikh Hasina and Sheikh Rehana visited other art works arranged by Shilpakala Academy.
The Dhaka Art Summit was held at the Shilpakala Academy from February 7-15, and the special exhibition on Bangabandhu has been organised in the summit as part of the Mujib Borsho. Though the summit ended, the exhibition will remain open for all till March 31.
