Ctg launches shuttle bus service for visitors of DC Park
The bus service is available every 30 minutes.
The district administration of Chattogram launched a new shuttle bus service on 1 February to improve accessibility for tourists visiting the popular DC Park situated in the Faujdarhat area of the port city.
Operating every 30 minutes, the shuttle buses will depart from the front of the shopping complex in Sholashahar and travel directly to DC Park. Return trips follow the same schedule, offering convenient transportation for both directions at an affordable fare of Tk35 per person.
Tickets can be purchased directly at the bus stop or booked in advance through the official website (www.tourismctg.gov.bd), with the option to book return tickets, according to a media release by the district administration.
This initiative addresses the challenge of unreliable transportation faced by visitors since the inauguration of the popular flower festival at DC Park on January 2nd. With 127 species of flowers on display, the park has attracted thousands of tourists daily.
However, the lack of a reliable transport system had posed challenges for visitors, prompting the district administration to take proactive measures.
The district administration's proactive measure aims to significantly alleviate travel difficulties and improve the overall visitor experience.
As Chattogram's tourism industry flourishes, such initiatives are crucial for ensuring seamless connectivity and accessibility to popular attractions within the region.
