Tabligh Jamat asks its followers to return home
The Tabligh Jamat followers are asked to offer prayer at homes and seek the welfare of the Muslim Ummah and the whole mankind to the Almighty Allah in the ongoing coronavirus crisis
Tabligh Jamat Bangladesh today urged its followers, who are now in different chillas (pattern of spending time to different mosques for preaching Islam), to return home from their respective tours.
In a statement signed by its Ahlea Shura Prof Yusuf Shikder, the Tabligh Jamat said: "Considering the notice of the Religious Affairs Ministry issued on Monday, those who are now in teen chillas (continuous 120 days in tour), ak chilla (40 days) or in any jamat are requested to return their respective homes."
"If necessary, seek cooperation from the administrations in this regard," the statement said.
