Tapos vows to make Dhaka a developed city
The elections to the city corporations will be held on January 30 next year

After getting the Awami League nomination to vie as mayoral candidate for Dhaka South City Corporation, Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh said he will work to make Dhaka a developed city if he is elected.
"I hope people will give me the opportunity to serve them," he said at a press briefing after being nominated for mayoral election today.
"I will also work to preserve the tradition of old Dhaka," he added.

Ruling Awami League today picked Atiqul Islam and Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh to run for mayoral elections of Dhaka north and south city corporations respectively.
The elections to the city corporations will be held on January 30 next year.
