Sylhet’s rail communication with other districts restored
A rescue train has reached the spot to salvage the derailed compartment
Sylhet's rail communication with other parts of the country has been restored on Saturday night, after a disruption of around four hours over the derailment of an oil-laden wagon.
The rail communication was snapped around 2pm as four wheels of a compartment of the Sylhet bound train veered off the track near Bhatera area of Moulvibazar.
Later, a rescue train went the spot and managed to salvage the derailed compartment at night, Kulaura Rail Station Master Muhibur Rahman told The Business Standard.
