UAE, Canadian envoys to strengthen aviation cooperation
UAE Ambassador to Bangladesh Abdullah Ali Abdullah Khaseif AlHmoudi and Canadian Charg, d'Affaires Debra Boyce today (25 September) met Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) Chairman Air Vice Marshal Md Monjur Kabir Bhuiyan separately to discuss enhancing aviation cooperation.
During the meeting with the United Arab Emirates (UAE) envoy, key topics such as ground handling services, anti-drone systems, and passenger information systems were discussed, a CAAB's press release said.
Both sides emphasised the need to strengthen bilateral relations and expand cooperation in various areas of aviation.
The discussions concluded with a commitment to working jointly on future initiatives.
Later, Canadian Charg, d'Affaires Debra Boyce focused on reinforcing bilateral relations and highlighted Canada's ongoing support for Bangladesh's aviation sector.
She reiterated Canada's commitment to assisting with the development of smart airports and broader aviation cooperation.
Both parties expressed optimism about future collaborations in the sector.
