Bproperty, real estate portal has launched the "Bproperty Online Property Fair" utilising the virtual realm to it's fullest even amid the covid-19 pandemic.
The Online Property Fair which will run till October 15, hosts exclusive projects such as the Purbachal American City, a new township of 18,000 plots at the edge of Dhaka city and 10,000+ properties for sale, both ready and under construction.
Guests will be able to view and even place their own offers on with the new offer feature on the Bproperty website.
The online platform for the fair also makes available the many other services available from Bproperty such as financial and legal assistance and even the new Interior Design service.
Everything we could possibly want or need is available somewhere online. The covid-19 pandemic has proven this fact, along with the fact that even the slowest adapters of technology could enter the virtual field for what they needed successfully.
The same need-want-available setup is true for larger, more unique commodities, like real estate - a sector that was already in the process of incorporating technology into its fold even way before there were signs of a pandemic.
The marriage of technology with real estate, referred to as PropTech, has been paving the way for a vast wave of changes that aim to reduce or eliminate much of the issues that tend to be present in the traditional real estate approach.
Throughout the last decade or so, most of the major property markets all over the world have adopted PropTech and the virtual realm. There are now more than 8700 PropTech companies all over the world with Europe being a major playing field.
According to the KPMG's Global PropTech Survey published in 2018, about 93% of industry professionals agree with the statement that "traditional real estate organizations need to engage with PropTech companies in order to adapt to the changing global environment".
Over the last few years, Bangladesh has also been at the forefront of utilising PropTech. The nation has been seeing a huge role out of properties being marketed, sold, and purchased online, something that would have been unheard of even just a few years ago. But today, it is commonplace.
Convenience, assurance, and thousands of options make it appealing. People are now able to use features like comprehensive searches, apartment videos, live tours and virtual tours through online property marketplaces.
